DBMS_LDAP

Filed under: Oracle — hourim @ 1:50 pm

I believe I’ve got the good habit to write down on a small paper what I have successfully implemented during my work. DBMS_LDAP is among those not really challenging problems but when needed it is very useful to have a “Getting Started” document. Here it is dbms_ldap.pdf

  1. Thanks for the concise and clear paper – this was just what I needed to save me hours of wading through the Oracle documentation 😉

Can you please post an example how to update fields such as Email , Phonenumber ..etc , or to how to create a new user ?

  3. Mohammed,

I wrote this article several years ago; it was under Oracle 8i release. Since then, I have not been confronted to DBMS_LDAP anymore. So I am not able to give you any other advise other then what I have summarized in the attached PDF file

    Best regards
